This is the online version of the Philippine Journal of Science (Philipp J Sci or PJS)—an open-access, single-blind peer-reviewed journal on natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, and social sciences. PJS is published by the Department of Science and Technology (https://www.dost.gov.ph) and managed by Science and Technology Information Institute (https://www.stii.dost.gov.ph).
Regular issues of PJS are published bimonthly in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December each year. No article processing charges are levied to authors who wish to submit their manuscripts for peer review and possible publication in PJS.
The first issue of PJS came out in 1906. It ceased publication in 1941 during the Second World War and resumed publication in 1947. It celebrated its 100th year anniversary in 2006.
