A quick and economic method for extraction of pesticide residues has been established as compared to previous column chromatography being adapted for monitoring organophosphate and pyrethroid pesticides in vegetables. The mini-column prepared and used in this study proves to be equally efficient in detecting the residue of pesticides from vegetables and is more economical and less time consuming.
