About the Cover

The cover for this special issue depicts a radiating atom overlaid on the Philippine map. This represents the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology (NST) that contributed to nation-building since the 1950s. Although NST growth in the country was protracted in the past decades, this special issue is a testament to the revival of NST and its many facets, which go beyond power generation.
